Electricity distribution business governance induction

Events 16 September 2026

This induction has been developed collaboratively with experienced directors, governance professionals, and subject matter experts from across the electricity sector to provide new and existing directors with a practical understanding of the environment in which electricity distribution businesses (EDBs) operate. We have drawn on our close engagement with government, regulators, and industry stakeholders to ensure the programme provides valuable context on the strategic, regulatory and commercial issues that shape the sector today.

The induction is designed to complement directors' broader governance development and help directors build an informed understanding of the unique context in which EDB boards make decisions.
